Loot, which allows you to see and get deals from merchants that give you better armor/weapons. There are sparkly enemies that give more sp (even an area where you can grind sp with said sparkly enemies in rohlan fields). But overall -
SP plays second fiddle to Grimoire Shards (net you new skills, sometimes permanent stat increases along with said new skills,). And equipment is even more important than that.
SP farming isn't really a "thing" at any point (except sky armors lol) but it definitely isn't a thing until you have at least one of the things later which give you a chance to get bonus SP.
If you're struggling with encounters, or bosses, you're either in an area way earlier than you should be, or it's time to reassess strategy, equipped skills, and whether your equipment is up-to-date.
@Djar - your comment is actually on the point. It seams that I used brute-force approach and get stuck at encounters where you need to combine skills with thinking a few steps ahead. I would not say it is easy for me now - rather I maybe started to play properly the game.
@Boon: Gushy Tooshie - yes, I had to travel back and found a bit better loot.
Gathered SP from kills lowers the level up requirement of Active and Passive skills at the same time characters gather the SP for you to level up the skills manually. If you collect enough SP the equipped Active and Passive skills will level up automatically without spending the SP gathered by the characters.
The max SP characters can store is 999 tho so you'll need to spend it to level up faster.
(I'd spend it on Class Emblem skills tho, because once you max it out you can equip the Class Emblem skills without the emblem. So theoretically you can have everyone learn the "Heal All" skill from the Cleric Emblem lol.
SP farming isn't necessary to progress tho. I've only done it once after I got all available characters to try out some combinations and formations so don't worry about it, your progression won't b affected.
