how to beat tank boss?

I am at the tank boss, and on this fight he will eventually get to where you have 4 rounds to beat him, or the cannon kills you, no matter what. I have exchanged formations/characters, had optimized equipment, and used every tactic I can muster and think of including piercer, etc. I cannot beat this guy?? how do you beat him??? Post is finished. I am done with this. I have a right, as anyone to NOT be treated negatively by ANY game maker or be held hostage in the game EVER. If you want to fight me, you will lose. I do not care what you say or think. I have been playing games LONGER than many of you have been making them.

You mean Matthye?


Hp 50000 Type Maschine

Attack 600
Magic 550
Defense 120
Mind 120
Agility 30
Resistance 30% Earth
Weakness 30% Wind

Matthye has 3 attacks (4 if you include the countdown attack) , 1 normal attack and 2 aoe attacks (cannon storm , dark ether). most of the time he attacks with a normal attack and then does a aoe.
The count down starts at low HP (my guess around 10 - 15k hp).



Can you post what equipment/proficient you have?

For now i can only give general advise.
If you have a hammer use defense break.
With bowgun use poision shot in gear 2 ( not only the shot itself does more dmg but the poision ticks also do more dmg, even if you switch gears again)
If you have some1 with proficiency 3 in element gun then use Windshot.
Otherwise keep you Hp high with repair all and if you are low hp instead of doing regular attacks once you switch to gear 0 use defend.
Hornet Dance has good dmg potential, i n the middle of the fight if you switch from gear 0 to 1, use the charge skill and next turn switch to gear 2 and use hornet dance for a good chunk of dmg.
If you have a Maschine Killer RAM or Wet Strike RAM use them.
Once Matthye is in Countdown Mode your support can use Waterbombs to give the Wet status that boost Windshots dmg by a lot.

Just break his defense and hit him really hard its that easy.


EDIT:
Btw there will be plenty more Bosses that force you to kill them before they do their ultimate move. So you maybe wanna learn the game because you HP cheat wont help you.

That is YOU. I do not play games to think too much, or to be held hostage by an overbearing algorithm or too many things to do just to kill a boss. I am simple and to the point. The way game makers should make games. That is why companies are losing a lot of money. You might be surprised there are MANY fed up with the problems in these games. Do not feel like you earned a medal or anything either. It does NOT IN ANY WAY make the game BETTER or HIGHER RATED. I will leave it at that.

I can buy whatever I want, pirate it, cheat at it, whatever the majority does because of ridiculous game makers who do not get the hint. I am here, with many protesting against MANY game makers who are rude, stand-offish, one-sided and do not care for a majority of RPG/JRPG gamers that support them. You know that thing called freedom of choice, and the ability to protest when things like games are over-bearing, made their way instead of made for all people? You might make a lot more money and have less piracy and cheating if you did. Think about it. Until the game makers who make these issues change, we will continue to use the alternatives. Btw, I found a cheat to get past that over-bearing boss with the laser. And I shared it over the internet with thousands of viewing eyes. I will NOT be held hostage in ANY game, EVER. HAHAHA! As for anyone wondering how to beat the tank legitimately, make sure to find the Offensive Drones in Perpetua's SE map, since this will grant group buff skills and make it easier to pass the DPS check.
