Dayajir, I have no idea. I can't find any connection to Anubis, Egypt, or jackals through the name. Plugging it into Google translate detects it as the African Hausa language, "daya jir" meaning "one day", or Somali, "dayaj ir" meaning "be careful", both of which seem like a stretch. Probably just a name he used personally for a D&D character or came up with on the fly.
Paris is also probably a reference to Romeo and Juliet. Paris is the name of the suitor Juliet’s parents pressure her to marry, similar to Van in this story. Paris is the frame Glenn is given by default.
The black sky armor pilot’s name being Endahrt is also interesting, because the word “endart” is also used in Romeo and Juliet when Juliet essentially tells her parents I’ll only flirt with Paris if I like him. I suspect Endahrt could be Timothy.
