Caveat that these guys are actually late game enemies if you can't even survive one round of their attacks, and they clearly outspeed you. Then you'll need to return dealing with them when you have upgrades from Act 3 or 4.
That said, most efficient way of dealing with them is having someone equipped with the Crossbow, which is Glenn's default gun, and proceed to use the AoE bullet shots stopping them with inact and blind. And proceeding to down one of them as quickly as possible, elemental shots + smash + offense buff + hornet dance.
I'm pretty sure I'm in act 4. I've handled everything so far with ease and have level 300 mech stuff. Maybe I need move along with the story more.
thanks,
