What's the rationale behind what abilities +/- Overdrive system
From my couple hours I've played thus far it seems like there isn't really a theme that determines which abilities give or take away from the OD bar. If someone can help me understand how they picked what abilities do what that would be appreciated!

Top left corner there is an icon that shows which type of ability will reduce Overdrive when used. It rotates every 4 turns, or each time you use an ability of that type. It's random which ability type comes up next (unless I'm mistaken and there is a pattern to it? I am 90% sure its random)

Unless the ability would take away from the OD bar, it adds to it. The exception is using an item, which is neutral, defending which lowers it, and there are five items in the game that count as using an ability of the type in the top left corner.

Red = Attack
Yellow = Magic
Orange = Debuff
Blue = Buff
Purple = Utility

I was hoping that I was missing something more along the lines of a thematic component instead of a roulette system, but knowing that makes it easier to understand nonetheless. :steamthumbsup:

I wouldnt be suprised, if you'll forget certain game mechanics.
Sadly, this games throws a bunch of mechnics all of a sudden and doesnt have a Help-Page.
In the end, a lot of information will be lost.
