Stuck at white rose inn

I am on the quest to return to white rose inn after talking to the three people in the forest village. Nothing happens when I go back to the inn and talk to innkeeper/girl, though. Looking it up, seems like there’s supposed to be a scene where he walks to the back entrance, but I didn’t get that, nor can I enter the inn through the back. Am I missing something I have to do first, or is this a bug?

On Xbox One, gamepass version.

Hmm, that's odd. I would double check to make sure that you talked with everyone in Iden and your current quest is to return to the White Rose Inn. Then try saving, reloading, and trying again. You prob already tried all this but that's all I can think of. =\

Yeah, tried all that, no luck. Seems like a bug. Will hopefully get an eventual patch. Thanks

I am having the same issue, did you ever get past it? I can't advance.

Ahh, turns out the inn is not the one in the city in the forest, but the one south of the forest on the other map. I had put the game down for a few days and the map doesn't show labels xD

In case anyone else has the same issue I just did and ends up here just like I did:
The *quest* changes to "Return to the White Rose Inn" after talking to enough people in town but returning won't actually accomplish anything until you trigger the *cut-scene* in town where the characters decide to return to the White Rose Inn. (I left via the water and missed it; apparently the developers assumed you'd leave the same way you came in.)
