Also, if you hit the ghosts with magic attacks FIRST before hitting them with physical attacks, the ghosts will then be immune to magic attacks instead - so then you can hit them with everyone's physical moves.
The ghost only apples a resist to the first type of attack you hit them with (physical or magical)
Listen up: We do NOT think this is fun to have a new creature, such as these ghosts, and they have a physical resistance, and you are pulling your hair out trying to figure out why we cannot beat them!
Arrgggh, why don't game makers actually understand we play games for relaxation and fun, NOT to be frustrated or to have to try and figure everything out, or do things over and over. This is why many do not buy games, because they may like it at first, and then days or hours later when they cannot get a refund, they run into total crap like this with the ghosts and their stupid "physical resistance."
You know that the majority of our features of attacks are PHYSICAL, not magic, and the magic attacks do not always show up right away for obvious reasons, nor do we always have the best characters, because we do not always have these options, etc., etc.. STOP PISSING PEOPLE OFF game makers!!!! You are not impressing anyone!
This is ridiculous. I have uninstalled games over this nonsense. It makes the game WORSE, not better. Either wake up to the obvious, or give us the option to bypass the creatures if we want. Do not force us to stay in this ridiculous section or place. For crying out loud!
Update: Even with those characters, it is so annoying to try and get them to be back to back. I can never get it to happen. And then the ghosts still keep killing me!!! OMG, THIS IS SO STUPID! The ghosts take like 25 percent of your HP in one hit!!! This is not fun. How is this even fair or realistic?!?!?! Guess I will have to look for some cheats or trainers, yet again.
This game makes it clear they get resistance after they have been hit in battle. If you paid attention to what was happening you would know this.
The game and developer is not to blame for your ineptitude and inability to follow context clues.
Bruh, the game literally tells you why they are immune to X damage.
Keep an eye out for the enemy buffs (which you can see in detail)
Why do you speak for all of us. You say WE. Thats bullsh**. You speak for yourself!
I play on normal and most fights play the same. Break defense, attack, heal all and use the enemies weakness, stop attacking if they buff counter x. Just read and think a little bit while playing. Play COD if you don't want to use your brain.
I am at the end of Act 2 and the only enemies i cannot beat are the strange sand enemies in the desert which can one hit kill you regardless of your health. So i play just on and try them again later,
You don't speak for any majority, lower the difficulty if you don't want a challenge.
Bruh, lower your difficulty if you find it too challenging.
I'm not a huge JRPG fan myself but those ghosts were beatable on standard difficulty (although I gotta admit it was quite annoying). Equipments and stat boosts don't make much of a difference at that point of the game so I don't think you should be struggling as much.
I agree. The Boxfly's evade skill was easy to miss too early on in the game and even after 50+ hours into the game I still don't fully understand some buffs and debuffs.
