Game stuck after publisher screen

Hello,

I'm on a windows machine and the game gets stuck after the publishers screen, I'm currently playing it on a Parallels Windows VM ARM64, on Macbook Pro with PS4 Controller.

Any idea what might cause this?

It displays a black screen, and after clicking anywhere, the Windows Popup "X did not respond" appears, and asks me to close the game or wait for it to respond.

It does the same for me, but if I wait on the black screen without touching any buttons or keys for 3 to 5 minutes the game does finally start.

yesterday i start the game 3 times... 1 of 3 was black screen.

now i want play again and evertime i have black screeen -.- i tried 6 times till now.. even waited long till the music stop

i play on win 10 , i7 11700k , rtx 1080 , 32gb ddr4

Any update on this issue? I have tried running as Admin, restarting Steam + PC, restarted the game multiple times and still just black screen after intro logos.

This just happened to me and I have no clue as to why. PC/steam version of the game. Devs, any updates?

So I just solved this for myself after trying everything. Went to my other pc. Game opened fine, but the auto save was at 18 hours of play when I’m at 45 hours. I saved in about 5 slots. Loaded in from slot 1 at 45 hours on my new pc and let it auto save. Now my other pc works again… what a strange issue with the save files.

Same for me. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game didn't fix it.

Welp, the game started working today. The 'turn the computer on and off again' strategy wins once again.
