Dani might be in need for help

Imma say it straight from the start, Dani might be facing depression. As some of you know, depression is physical as much as it's mental. I'm something of a developer myself, and I know some of what Dani is going through, cuz I experienced all that before. This is why people tend to gather a team to develop video games, it helps relieve some stress. It's not about how skilled you are at making games, cuz a lot of people are very skilled but can't do much without a team. They don't necessarily help you much, but they give you that feeling of "you are not alone" and that "you are not the only one holding all the responsibility". As much as Dani want to finish the game and release it, he can't even work on it cuz of his current mental state. Depression is a serious health issue and before you start yelling "HE'S NOT DEPRESSED, HE'S NOT CRYING IN A CORNER". Well, that's just a stereotypical idea of depression and isn't necessarily accurate. It's the image used most to advertise things like betterhelp, but it's not what depression is.

To conclude all this, Dani needs help from people close to him, from professionals too. He's currently in a stage where he's not motivated to work on the game and trying to stall and delay it's release date. However, the more time it takes, the more people think that he's putting more work into it, which also means higher expectations, way higher than what he could deliver. It's all gonna remain in that loop until something or someone tries to break that loop.

It makes me both sad and extremely pissed that people are literally sending him death threats over a game. As a game developer myself who is working on a game which is inspired by Karlson, game development takes a whole lot of time and i don't think people really realise that, it is better to make a non rushed high quality game rather than to rush a game to appease your fans. although I do really want Karlson to come out but i'm fine waiting as long as it takes because I know Dani is taking his time with it and making sure it is the best game he can possibly make it, also the fact he is working on it by himself (With Neo Nomen and Evan king doing the music) which is really impressive, all in all what Dani is doing with Karlson is amazing and I am very excited for it, but people just need to accept the fact that they need to wait. Thank you Dani, very cool.

I completely agree with you. Honestly, I'm just worried for his mental health. I didn't even know people send him death threats. That's awful and just ridiculous.
