So story of this game
Some cursed place became convenience store and manager killed by curse, and protagonist barely survived from curse(or dead also). That's it? Is there anything I missed?

I'm not trying to complain here(it's 3 dollar game and quite nicely done after all), I just curious about maybe there is something I missed.

Sorry for unclarified post. I figured out main root of game but I just want to know there is detailed information I missed. Like,

Woman who gave me protection charm is just random woman?
Who sent me VHS video and returning them is why key of survive?
Manager was maybe that boss who harassed the suicided man?
Who was the bum outside of store in first day?

or it's just loose plot(again, I don't mind that).
1. The woman as far as I know is just some random woman who feels bad for you for working alone in the middle of the night. Maybe she's a "guardian angel", but that's probably reaching a bit, but it's up to interpretation.
2. My only idea is that the woman ghost is trying to curse us. Maybe it's the only way she can kill people if they watch the tapes? So if you don't watch the final tape, you are safe. You can see that the manager watched all 4 tapes, because there is a 4 written in red on one the TV in the shed where he was killed. This tells us that you are only killed if you watch all 4 tapes.
3. I don't think so. The manager we talk to seem like a nice person, so I doubt it's the same.
4. Just some random homeless person begging for food. Probably no story relation and just for the sake of adding an optional thing to get an achievement.

But yeah many things are probably just for the sake of gameplay reasons and maybe not really story related. The game is short and there's not that much story that can be put into a game like this.

Well you're kind of simplying everything and ignoring the story behind the ghosts and the haunting too be honest. It's not just some random curse, there's a reason for it.

The Good Ending credits basically tells you most of what you need to know. "There seemed to have been gruesome killings at the property". So the man of a family killed his child while the wife was out shopping at the local supermarket, then he murdered his wife when she came back and then himself. The man had been harassed by his boss at work which seems to have led to this gruesome murder of his own family.

The old lady says "This was my daughter's house" which suggests the house used to be on the same property before the convenience store was built. So it's safe to assume the spirits of the murdered family then started haunting the convenience store instead.

I'm not sure how the VHS tapes ties to the story though, but maybe it's just for gameplay purposes. It might just be a reference to the film "Ringu", also known in the west as "The Ring".

There might be some more pieces of story that I'm forgetting but these are the main parts of the story at least.

Thanks for detailed answers. And there is one thing, 4 means 'death' in eastern asia culture so dev definitely use number 4 for two meaning at once.

I was thinking of that and I believe that the other employee is the ghost of the suicide man.

This explains why he didn't notice anything strange in the store and why he try to scare the protagonist

Is that make sense?
