No characters alone in room to start sleep scene
As the title says, either the girls are asleep, or unavailable in some way so I can't TALK to them in order to go to sleep. How do I get around this?!

Click the timeslice in the bottom right to advance the time. As in, the text that shows Morning, Afternoon, Evening, etc. Click that text.

Got you beat, I was 25 hours in before I figured out how to access the inventory.
