Way to turn off mouse acceleration?

I just started the game up, got to the menu, and I'm already put off the game by the horrid mouse acceleration. I tried to look for it in the settings menu but... the settings menu is pretty barebones, and I didn't see anything about the acceleration. Only thing is the sensitivity, which doesn't help because it just means that a 'balanced' sensitivity means first it moves too slow then it moves too fast as it accelerates. Is there any way to turn it off in some files or anything? It's a bit off-putting when the very first screen of the game makes me feel like my mouse pad is made of ice.

at 3440x1440 the mouse lag/floatyness is unbearable. Is your screen of a high res like this as well?

+1 with this, from what i've seen it seems rather extreme. @devs (dev?) please allow "direct input" mode that mirrors desktop sensitivity, or well RAW input even.

No, I'm just on 1920x1080p. Even with such a standard resolution, the mouse acceleration is pretty atrocious.

Just bought the game and noticed it as well. Adjusting the sensitivity helped a little, and I'm slowly getting used to it but it just feels sluggish and laggy. Just give me a standard mouse pointer please.

Just loaded up the game and this was immediately noticeable. I'd really like this changed ASAP. I don't feel like trying the game with the mouse this borked.

Yeah, I wound up returning the game. The mouse acceleration wasn't quite the reason, but it was certainly a major factor. The game itself just feels a little bit unbalanced still. I like the idea of it, I like the core gameplay, I like a lot of the mechanics, but it just doesn't feel polished enough. I couldn't see myself playing it enough to warrant the ~$25 spent on it. I will try to keep updated on the game, though, and hope that they can tweak it and improve it (and please, please, please get rid of the mouse acceleration).

This game has by far the worst mouse acceleration I've ever experienced. I actually really like the game but this one issue is so severe I legitimately don't want to play this game.

I'm planning to look into hardware cursor support for version 1.4 of the game (next update after current patch). Due to engine constraints it involves a bit more work/headache than you would think, but I will keep you updated on it in my pinned "game update plans" post when I begin working on version 1.4.

Was anything ever done about this? I just bought and installed the game, and the mouse handling is so bad I am honestily imediatelly thinking of refunding it...

The mouse having such a horrible resonsiveness and delay to it already on the menu screen is honestly a huge "quite moment" before someone (including me) even gets a chance to experience the game.

Mouse is horrible and kills fun to play as it feels very unnatural.
Won´t play any further, until they offer a fix for.

I'm another refund over the issue. Not super excited to hold onto the game just to maybe be able to enjoy it later. I hope it's an issue that can be ironed out in future, I've had the game wishlisted for a while
