But most football games don't give you this 'total control' of editing a players ratings mid-season or mid-franchise or whatever. Legend Bowl / College Bowl def gives you the feeling that you're in complete control as you can mod the hell out of the game. However, you can't edit ratings mid-dynasty, unless you edit the roster.json file.
if you choose to edit this file you would be wise to back up your file as it's quite easy to brick the dynasty by making a mistake. tread carefully.
Maybe not most football games, not that there are many now, but both the NBA 2K and MLB The Show franchises allow total player editing in ongoing franchise modes. Definitely recommend both if you like that kind of thing.
I guess we are in the minority of players who want this feature.
No most people just don't comment and just don't buy the game. I don't understand why it wouldn't be part of singleplayer. everything has sandbox these days
