Two of everything and still not two player?

yup.. HOW can you even play multiplayer? we bought it twice too because we dont have gamepads and we just got thrown into singleplayer and neither of us can find a way to actually connect to or invite the other one wtf EA?

looks like you cant use 2 games and play using your keyboard+mouse via some multiplayer option, so yeah.. refunded both copies :/

What worked for me was 1 player (me) using a controller and my friend used a keyboard and mouse via remote play.
I had to start the game in steams big picture mode (otherwise my controller wasn´t recognized) and then when I was in the game i tabbed to steam, invited him to remote play, activated in steam his keyboard and mouse option (the icons beside his name when connected in the window) and then you can both play.
If you still control the same character you need to open the ingame option and select "add another player to keyboard" and then it worked for us.

On the storepage it clearly says that this is LOCAL co-op, twice, or remote play.
The good news is you only need one copy of the game then. My partner and I played this remote together. It was not bad at all, not ideal, but do-able and we had fun. Me using controller, him using kb+m (controller recommended though)

Guys, if anyone is still having issues with this. FOR ME it worked to just log into EA then run it through steam, and the option to add keyboard appeared.
