And if I want to integrate it into Origin as a Steam game, Origin also requires product activation with the product key.
I also uninstalled Origin and reinstalled it through the game on Steam.
It also links correctly from Steam and Origin opens, but it's not there in the Origin library.
I can only buy it there directly or activate it with a product key that I have no access to.
If this is only to be shown as a DLC in the game, it is fantastic that you cannot get into the game without it.
wtf bbq
Seems to be an issue when you run it for the first time with Origin already running.
I uninstalled Steam and Origin.
Then I reinstalled Steam and then let Steam install Origin by installing Unravel.
Somehow everything was linked and now I have the games in the library in Origin and Steam and can start them from Steam or Origin, it no longer matters, there are no more error messages.
Since then I have also played other games such as Mass Effect Andromeda bought on Steam and it has always been that way ever since it linked properly. The games from EA that were bought via Steam are then always automatically in the Origin library.
I would try this:
- Uninstall Steam and Origin
- Install Steam
- Install Unravel
In the course of the Unravel installation, Origin is installed and linked via the "EA Link" - make sure that a firewall or similar does not block the process.
It worked for me, even after the second attempt, but everything has worked fine since then.
