Crashing and sending to desktop

Hey , i just got 2k and my game crashes right before i play a game and it sends me to my desktop. Which i passed the recommended build for the game where i have also updated my pc and my drivers i have also turned off vsync and finally i have tried the game in windowed mode opposed to full screen so idk what to do and im asking for help.

ok i tried it and didnt work, it loaded in for a second then i got sent to my desktop :(

don't worry the game is completly bugged... you're not alone...

Personnaly, on myteam games crash again and again until it don't and then when it don't it never crash again (if i don't quit the game)

(no issue with nba2k20)

yeah you are right the odd thing was that i have better specs than my friends but they run the game perfectly fine.

but yeah i looked and saw everyone having the same problem so idk.

Not really sure what else I could recommend. Write 2K a ticket, maybe they got some advice that we aren't aware of.

The crashing is happening because your processor doesn't support AVX and is therefore incompatible with the game. Please see the pinned thread for more details.

i remember having the same issue (but on epic games). it was a bug with fullscreen / windowed mode and the epic overlay.
Can you try press ALT + ENTER real fast while the game is booting up? it should jump into window mode
