My Career
I've looked around for an answer to this and I have found several fixes and discussions on the console side of things, but nothing for PC.

MyCareer isn't saving. I spent a couple hours going through the prelude, all the high school and college stuff, for the story last night and after getting to the NBA I decided to take a break. When I got back in the game, no save. All my VC from the career is there, or att least the VC I didn't spend already, but the career save isn't there.

I started a new one and jumped straight to the NBA. Played my first couple of games, and then left the mode. Same thing happened: no save.

How many saves do you have on all modes?

Three MyLeague's, but two of them are full on custom. I was just peeking in the file where everything is saved and it looks pretty full. You thinking that might be an issue?

Going from previous threads, it could be. There does seem to be a limit in total saves throughout the game, but I haven't figured out what those limits are yet.

Yeah, I just went in and I had four my league saves. I deleted two of them and that worked. Not sure why in all that is sane 2k would limit game saves on the pc of all things, but here we are.

Because that game is made with stupid consoles in mind and instead of putting some minimal effort into making a proper port, take two dummies just copy and paste it without any effort.

I found out how to fix this...

Delete the save game files...

They can be found in either of the following folders...

C: PROGRAMDATA\2K Sports\NBA 2K21\
or
C: Program Files\Steam\userdata\*your User number*\1225330\remote

Bit late now that 2k22 is out... But might help someone who hasn't gone for the new game like I haven't...
