MyPlayer is never saving

Has anyone ever experienced there MyPlayer not saving. Everytime one of my friends log on to play, there new character is gone. Is there something in the files that is preventing this from happening? How reliable is the save cloud?

I am not the one that was having the issue. He was. He only had one character. The game would not save his character, but kept given him VC that he actually paid for in game back towards his character. The sad part is he no longer have his badges. His park rep steady progress and the game gives him only the VC that he paid for, but his character and badges are gone. No matter what he does.

I wasn't just talking about MyPlayers, but MyLeague, MyGM, everything where you can save something...

bro I don't know. I will have to ask him, but I'm pretty sure he deleted the game, just as well as I did. we finally decided to get 2k for PC, after playing it on console for the past four years. Biggest mistakes of our lives. No one respects the community, 2k support only capability on assisting console players and lastly this community praise modders and cheaters. I will never be apart of that.

I found out how to fix this...

Delete the save game files...

They can be found in either of the following folders...

C: PROGRAMDATA\2K Sports\NBA 2K21\
or
C: Program Files\Steam\userdata\*your User number*\1225330\remote

Bit late now that 2k22 is out... But might help someone who hasn't gone for the new game like I haven't...

It will then download fresh working files from the server when you start the game again...

Took me months to figure it out, support were useless...
