Cant make a shot

HI guys. Increased the ability to throw 3 to 87 and average 2 to 93, but even with free practice I hit a maximum of 3 out of 10 3pt throws, the situation is similar with midrange throws. I generally keep quiet about NBA games, where my hit percentage is about 10%. Playing on the difficulty hall of fame.
I have been playing nba2k since 2k14 and have never experienced such problems. I think it's all about the new shootmeter, is it possible to somehow return the old shootmeter?

Do you experience similar problems, and if so, how do you deal with them?

I've got the same problem. I'm very certain at this point that the new shotmeter is to blame for it. Never had such huge problems in any game before. I think we can only hope 2K fix this mess at this point.

Man noone can hit a shot, hop in the REC and see everyone brick is sad and hilarious. Both team end up with 2/20 3 pointers.

Check controler options to change to the shotmeter, wont do any difference tho

A lot of people is switching the shot meter completely off. This opens the shot window a little, but you will have to memorize the animations.

I completely agree, the shooting is very off this year with the meter if you don't use the aim system, unless you play the game all day and have a math degree.

Yeah i totally agree..the new Shooting System is a pain in the .... The only that just works are Dunks and Lay ups but thats about it. I dont know why i actually still play that crap. It wont get any better anyways. Sadly... But 2K doesnt seem to care anyways.

Yep, I can't even hit layups with my 90ovr LeBron. He has A- in 3pt, but I can't hit anything. This is just ridiculous. Every shot that moves out of the zone is a 100% brick.
