I just finished the high school/college story line and finally go to the park. It works, but there was only one court playing. I am currently waiting in the rec for almost 10 min now and only found 1 other teammate who left shortly after.

Not really. i played on rec one game but i tried two other times with no luck

Update to my last comment: There are tons of players in my park and the rec now. So far I have run into only one cheater which was a 95 ovr all around threat. It has actually been really enjoyable so far.

Is it worth buying? I honestly dont wanna buy next gen console just to play 2k. especially if i have a good pc

I would say it's worth buying. I have seen some hackers, but it was just 95 overalls with no badges so you can beat them if your character is developed a bit. Only saw one 8 ft arm guy, but he wasn't even playing at the time. I haven't actually played one hacker in the rec or pro am and there are plenty of matches to find in my park and the rec at the moment. Pro Am is sort of slow though at the moment as I guess people are still building their characters b/c we've played quite a few 5 mans in the rec.
