Selling a game by advertising it with a dead legend is a backstab for the whole NBA community. Show some respect for Kobe's family and his daughter and dont try to sell something in the name of someone who accidently died in an helicopter crash.

This is utterly disrespectful and only shows that 2K is ready to milk their next cash cow.

When the For the mygm mode I think you should bring back a story line to do with it as that was a very good feature in 2k19 but wasn’t in 2k20. The MyTeam serious could have more ways to earn MT a bit more but this isn’t needed to me just a bit of a grind for the budget ballers. There needs to be a lot of honouring to Kobe’s legacy but he also ones for Gigi and the 7 others crash in 2k21 though but more to Kobe as he had a large impact on the league.

A tribute thats costs more than the original game and for what ? There are so many other ways to honor kobe in a basketbal game like giving him a statue in the park where everyone can type one message and some of those messages will be featured in a 2kTV episode. Or maybe something that doesnt involve the ingame currency or even real money - maybe a 1v1 Kobe against ur MYPLAYER and if u win he will twink at u saying "Go on and show them what u got" like he has done to so many other generations of basketball players.

In my eyes naming a Legend Edition "Mamba forever" with that particular price tag has nothing to do with a tribute, when i see the items u get there. The only thing related to Kobe is that digital Kobe Bryant album and i dont even know what this is all about.

Maybe im overthinking it way too far but i know how 2K's marketing strategy looks like and this is not good at all, regarding what happened, when it happened and how it is used to generate money. I would'nt have that reaction when part of the money for that "Legend Edition" is going to charity foundations which Kobe founded. Just to give something back like he did it for us.

BUT doing this for extra 40$ is disgusting. 2K are just exploiting our love for KB..
They already earn more then they deserve by selling 60$ a vulgar copy of the previous year game and all the online transaction..

"Mamba forever" should be the original game (with the kb card offered)

Thank you, someone actually understands why i made this topic. Still im against a "tribute" version of a game which costs more than the actual game. I know legendary editions where a thing in every NBA2K game BUT theres nothing legendary about charging more for a "tribute" version of a game and not even try to get some acutal tribute footage into the vanilla game itself.

I already made some suggestions how to say farewell to Kobe in a basketball game but there are so many ways how u can make a tribute to a player like Kobe Bryant. People who had the idea making this "tribute" did not even think a minute how they could make this "tribute" something worthwile and unforgetable.

Sorry but a Kobe card for MYTEAM is not a "tribute" for me. We have cards every year and this is nothing special.

Try to make something that honours KOBE and his LEGACY and make it the best game NBA2K ever made.
