Report a translation problem
Turns out, this is not actually a Mac port at all. It's a Windows version runing in an emulator (Wine). So I'm pretty sure the problem lies there, eg. perhaps it's using a version of Wine that isn't supported anymore.

It's really hard to follow what the guy's saying, he mumbles a lot and seems to be eating while he's talking ... but eventually I worked out what to do, and it didn't work.
To fix this error you must:
1. Install Moroshka File Manager from App Store (free)
2. Check "Show Hidden Files" in preferences
3. Go to the /Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Library/Application Support and delete Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas folder.
