Same violence like the original?

They say in the FAQ its the same violence like in the original game.
I tried to shoot with the shotgun on dead corpse but it only changes the blood texture on the limb. In the original game it was... how can I say it... gone ;-)

the gore settings are really confusing, theres so many options. i assume "bloodbath" is full gore, but its unclear

no chance, tried every gore setting but it seems to be impossible to shoot off arms or lags. not that this is so important ;-) But they say KR will have the exact same violence level

Was that maybe from a mod? Sorry, haven’t played since original release date in 90s so my memory is maybe a bit fuzzy but I don’t remember shooting limbs off.

no there was no mod installed back in the 90s ;-) and you could shoot heads off

They seem to have reduced the dismemberment chances and changed the blood spurts, decals of the floors & walls to be more... artificial? I don't like the new decals, wish there was a way to keep the old ones while increasing the gore even further.

i might refund because of this. im no sicko (yeah right) but the original had dismemberment so it should be here.

Yeah, really gonna need a patch asap for that, should not be missing/broken compared to original game. Won't refund just yet, but that would be a deal breaker if not fixed PDQ.

If it took them 3 years to get to this point, there is no way they are fixing all of these problems anytime soon and I don't know who you are trying to fool, I get it your job is to stop people from refunding but I don't think it's working.

So the Gore Settings are broken? I´ve tried every Gore Setting and i can´t see any changes.
Please fix this to have some good friendly violent fun.....
