sof II really doesn't hold up that well after all these years when compared to sof I. sof 3 we don't talk about :D

Soldier of Fortune definitely deserves some love and we would love to work with it..

But unfortunately thats up to 'Activision'. as they hold the SoF rights.

Would you consider getting in contact with Activision? to get the rights. i would also love for you guys to remaster SoF especially if you also release on Steam - ive wanted these games on steam for years. cheers

After Activision dumped the SoF brand onto the title that turned into Payback, I doubt they have any interest in doing anything with the series these days.

Maybe after the kingpin redux, the developer can ask activision for the license to remaster SoF.

Have you guys tried contacting Activision about it? Like you did with Interplay.

If the developer contacts Activision for the rights they can remaster Soldier Of Fortune a long over due game that need a remaster like kingpin reloaded.

I have faith with this developer as if they were to remaster SoF it will be fantastic!

Please get the rights, SoF remaster would sell amazingly.

I played SoF when it came out and seeing a remaster sold on Steam would bring back memories, Please make a effort to acquire the license/rights to make this happen Dev!

Some don't talk about, because speaking for myself, SOF3 is the best one IMO, love the graphics and fun gameplay. So to me, its SOF3, SOF1, SOF2.

That's.... just... wow.

It's not even SoF3.
Payback isn't even connected to the previous two games.

And, wasn't even a Soldier of Fortune game. Cauldron were making a new game, focused around modern military themes.
And Activision slapped the SoF IP on it and shoved it out the door.

And, personally, it's awful.
If you enjoy it, awesome for you. Seriously. But for me, I hated everything about it.

Soldier of fortune is the best one, followed up by sof2.

payback is alright, i own it on steam and its meh.

SoF 1 needs a remaster as its the best one in the series. im hoping dev/3drealms will get the license.
