yea, it works if you time it when he is on the right side
not sure if there are any glitches with plant, I was able to do it as well by placing plant on the right side, not sure if you even need it
you might have to time it when he checks the bell*
(side note: I feel like I should have been able to do something to help that monster at the end; now I feel bad that I just left it. Anyone else?)
