Monsters and food
Probably silly question but how do you tell when Monsters are hungry? Is there some way to view this?
Or is it expected that you feed them once a day?

The hearts that appear when you pet them will start to decrease.

Do you have to hand feed them the items or is putting them in the storage box sufficient?

storage box seemed sufficient for me , not really sure what petting monsters does though , i avoided it since i been avoiding raising domestication since wilder monsters tend to have higher odds of passing good traits to offspring.
