Also imo, I think the reason why they removed cheats on the steam version is because once you get the option to unlock everything and/or see everything in the game (especially EA nsfw games like this one) people would probably just go straight to the gallery, do a quick RnR session and refund or something.

I think that's a fair assessment. Either they would need to pay to take everything or work for it with how it is now. It wouldn't be something they could rip and post online for free.

it sounds like the people wanting the code like the combate in this game more then the fighting and just want an easy way to get there monsters back to what ever level they where .
i understand how annoying it must be to have your progress reset agent you wishes .
i can see why people have stopped playing with that being an ongoing problem .
i still think this is more a farming game and for that i dont think xp is really needed unless xp helps the monsters farm better in some way

I think it's more of a monster fighting/raising sim than a farming sim. Perhaps that's bias, though, since I favor that sort of thing to farming. Farming can be quite calming (I quite love titles such as Stardew Valley for that reason), but monster fighting and collecting are a lot of fun for me. I also like how the battles are handled and how all of the creatures provide different battling styles. Their difference in personality is cool too. Since this is an early access title, a lot of the features are a WIP and being worked on. Things are subject to change and some things are incomplete. This isn't my first early access title I've supported, so I'm not too surprised by that.

Honestly, great perks for fans!

I am not against the Team Nimbus making money and don't get me wrong this is a fun game with a lot of effort put in by Team Nimbus. I believe letting the players know up front would have been a more honest way of going about it. Like putting a blurb on the main screen before you load or start a new game. Example "Thank you for purchasing Cloud Meadow we hope you enjoy this game but there are some features that are not available in this version due to it being an early release, if you would like more content please visit our Patreon -Team Nimbus."
Also, giving an option for players to buy the cheat table for an additional cost may help some players not feel cheated. For Team Nimbus to allow the Steam players to get full access would be unfair to there Patreon supporters. We pay one flat fee that does not equal the cost of the basic package after a year, much less than the package with the cheat table. We are still a player base that receives timely updates and bug fixes so we are not left high and dry.
I believe this game is more than just NSFW but there are players who would just want that from them and I do not feel that is wrong.
Providing a way to support the Steam player base, in regards to the cheat table, in a way that is beneficial to Team Nimbus is something I think they should look into.

To some up this book of a post I believe this is a great game that is growing in a great way due to the team and the fans. Unfortunately, the Steam fans are treated differently and that is not something that sits well with all of their customers.

BigBl00 i agree that the patreon set up is good value and that at least telling to steam players would be more honest .
the problem i herd a few times is when ever they would add a new update there old save would not be useable so they would have to start fresh .
adding an xp code would help people get back to where they where in the story.
i also agree that this is a good game the problem is how they add there updates .
if they just added an xp code then there would be no real problems when they add new updates

I am a Patreon subscriber, to a few people, as it were. And I can understand "some" of the reasonings for there, or most, builders reasons for the tier system and the "added" things one gets for each tier. Also, I can agree with many for those Steam people who buy these games off Steam. And yes, you pay for a game that is "supposedly" playable to perhaps the end? and then find oops, no can do it. Next update, DAMN gotta start over??? WTF!! So ya update and start over again. OK, one update and start over isnt all that bad.. Next update. What?? have to start over again?? oh come on!!!! As one can see, even those on Patreon, it does get old rather quickly and tiresome. And I can pretty much guarantee MANY people who DID pay and play, left the game simply because they got tired of repeating every single thing the goes on in the game with each update. I have personally, played many games like that and have dropped many of them just for that reason even if the game was very good. There are limits. Then again there are a few that understood what people were saying and then made it where you didnt have to restart the game each update, though most ya did have to find the save file and move it to the other update or, in most cases, the game already knew where the file was a read it correctly and you continued forward. That is the LEAST this game should have.. They know already where the save file is. So just make the updat eload it, and yes I know, "some thing have changed and are not very compatible" that is true as well on some game, HOWEVER, simple solution, even though most may not think so, just patch the updates on the save files as well.. Not exactly rocket science there. AND it will help more people to play the game as it should be played AND the game developers, will actually make more money that way since people will NOT have to replay with each update. Although, quite honestly, I only had to restart the game once in all the time I have had it.. The hint is above in this text here. So I will not disclose HOW I did it but lets just say it not that damned hard. Anyway, For the cheat codes, yes, the developers SHOULD give out a few to those Steam players who actually PAY for the game. Perhaps not all codes, but at least a few to help them get to the level they were before an update. Anyway, thats my thoughts. Have a goo done people. If I stepped on some toes, ooops, not sorry, just saying my own opinion here..

This. All I ask is for something to skip the grind (may not be the best idea if the devs actually added a skip grind cheat making you speedrun through the entire game and making people refund quickly once they find out that it's still not done yet). At least add some gold, inventory or exp cheats, It's all i ask for since i bought the game at full price on steam.

you know what's scary ?? that the creators defend themselves in such a way that we are honored players, and yet the pirate version of the codes works without any problems. the difference between steam and pantheon players should be that they have earlier access to experimental bilds and we have access to full updates as a larger patch. Listen to the developer, it's not good when the pirated version of the game is more playable than the original version. give access to these codes, this is not something that should be hidden from the peywal because the task of the codes is to help the player get out of the situation resulting from errors in the game and EA games have a lot of them. I do not understand why we are taking the tool to fight YOUR mistakes, claiming that it is some kind of reward ?? As a person who can pay for Patreon on a monthly basis, I still agree that releasing the codes to people who pay for the game on Steam would be more honest and decent, considering the people who pay for it here on Steam are still supporting the game. Even if they only pay for it once because they're only paying for the game once, they're still giving the game their support. And, beyond that, the Patreon rewards are full with NSFW Sprite wips for some of the levels of support. Giving the codes out, or even just one code or two to help players after a wipe happens when the game is updated would just be so much better for all of you guys who can't pay monthly to support and get your progress wiped.

Plus, it would be great to not have to have two versions of the game downloaded at once just to access a build where you can enter cheats and not have that option later in the main game, which is always going to have the better build since it's going to be the finalized version of the game.

Cheats are for patreon people only sadly. Best advice I can give you is just go and use Cheat Engine. (seriously us steam users should at least have some cheats available)
