Where to find Bobbler (plankton) and how to upgrade items?

I have 4 planktons, is that as many as have been released? The wiki says there is a 5th that can harvest crunchleaf, but I have scoured all 8 levels of the dungeon and cannot find it.

ALSO, I have a single version of an upgraded item, and I cannot figure out how I have it. Again, there are several items that have multiple qualities referenced in the wiki, but upgraded versions of those items are never for sale, and I never get anything good from chests besides random food items.

Are upgraded items just from lucky drops, or is there an event or system for upgrading some of the items in game? The one in question here is the domesticity for idiots, I have a single version that is -20, and all others I have found are -10.

Upgraded items- Sadly, just rng right now. In my experience, you get them more frequently on floors 6-8, but even then its sheer luck if you get 2 or three star equipment. I think your level might have something to do with it, but i'm really not sure and cant test it right now.

also as of right now, there doesn't seem to be a way to directly upgrade items either, you just have to find 'em

(That being said- on floor 8, the lore cave behind the waterfall- there are two dig spots up in the area you can get to by walking on the pillar, they seem to have a really good chance of having good items in them.)



Bobbler- I have it unlocked on my farm so you can definitely find it, unfortunately I have zero memory of where and when I got it.

I don't think its one you get by finding it on a floor and picking it up, because I can remember doing that for the wiff-waffler, the crackler, and the twenger, but when I think of the little green blob I don't have that memory.

So it might be given as a reward for doing dungeon quests. if anyone knows, please speak up, i'm just guessing on this.

At the extreme south-east of F8 of the Savannah, pass east via the north route through the pirate fortress and head over the bridge south of the three bear traps, keep heading east along the south side of the poison river, kill the baddies, then keep following the poison river to the circle of flowers and dig. This is where I have found the most consistent 2-star and rare 3-star items to drop. Mostly it is 2-star gear. I have gotten farm/marine boots and the marine sword more than anything, but the occasional farm harvesting item.

Bobbler is on Floor 5 of the Savannah, it's on the north side past the river.

Which floor do you find the Twenger on? I've had absolutely no luck locating the damn thing despite running the dungeon top to bottom for hours
