Missing plankton partner?

I can't find the missing plankton. I've seen others asking about this with replies that it's in the waterfall cave with the mural, but even after running up the pillar and along the whole edge I can't find it. Any chance I might have encountered a bug?

Same here. But I have noticed, if you jump on the Pillar in the waterfall cave and head to the second level and then run around t the left hand side, you can sometimes hear the same plankton cries? So it may be that it spawned through a wall or something? I don't know, but I am going to try and find it again once the Dungeon resets (dunno, maybe that will help.)

It's in the cave with the white fuzzballs, one of which you have to give a comb to. It's up on the ledge. you climb up the broken pillar and run around to it!

If any npc is not appearing where it should be, drop a save and then exit and reload the game. I have monsters on my farm disappear all the time and this works a treat to get missing npcs back on screen.

Found it! After you get into the cave under waterfalls u can find one on the edge of left side. It’s on a wall.

Post author here: I don't know if it was because the dungeon reset, or because there was an update between the last time I played and when I found it, but the plankton was where it was supposed to be the next time I got to the floor the cave is on.

While the cavern is dark, the broken pillar to the right of the centaur is what you need to move towards in order to complete this quest ...
