free the captured pirate

anyone know what item you need and how to get it to free the pirate from the den mother on lv 8??

the flower which you get from the shettle (in the cave behind the waterfall), in exchange for the golden comb which you get from the chest king (by the pirate camp) in exchange for the hinge, which you get from the drunken centaur (in front of the orgy cave) and I'm sorry I forgot where you get the booze for the centaur; level 8 is a maze of interconnected quests

Re: what LadyVader said. you get the booze from the top right Union fella in the cave after giving him the key coated in crystal gunk or whatever. I spent too long searching for a source of Centaur booze to remember exactly where I got the key from, but I think it was from resolving the breeding ground conflict at the top of the map

I can't complete the quest with the conflict between the centaurs and the neko because the game throws me to the main menu right after the second fight.

This is a known bug currently, and re: the devs explanation, it has to do with some of the system overhauls the newest update brought to the table (iirc its a bug created by the change in the diologue system)
It should (hopefully) be patched/hotfixed soon

actully i'm having a similar problem right now, i have the comb but i can't give it to the den mother....i just loop the last convo T_T help

This quest is now fixed. However, I don't remember who needed what. Try to search the cave if you have defeated the centaur and lair mother.
But wait. It seems that the furries from the other cave need a comb for which they give a flower, and the den mother needs a flower.

Comb goes to the Big Fur Ball in Aqua Bath
Fur Ball gives you Flower
that you give to den mother
den mother gives you pirate

In one cave where is Digger, big cyclop girl and so is a golden little minion - you pet him and he give you a key. That's the key that union soldier in cave camp wants. He gives you booze. You go to centaur, he gives you the hinge. You give the hinge to Chest King and he gives you the comb. Then you give the comb to Half-Blind Shettle and he gives you the flower. Flower goes to Denmother, she gives you the pirate and the boom key.

Pet the golden minion in west cave in the head (gives you key)
> give key to Union soldier in Union cave camp (gives you flask of grog)
> give booze to centaur in front of breeding cave (gives you hinge)
> give hinge to chest king (gives you comb)
> give comb to fluffy man (gives you flower)
> give flower to Denmother in breeding cave (gives up pirate and gives you boom key)

... I aged so much doing this quest...
