Steam/EA app fix

The EA app is currently for some reason unable to find AWayOut installation folder specifically when downloaded over Steam and outside it's own designated folder, and it offers no automatic way to solve it.

Solution is to enter registry editor (win 10 in this case, start-run-regedit) and find this tag: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hazelight\AWayOut", and under path type the actual location of the install directory (where your Steam library is, should be something like C\YOUR_STEAM_LIBRARY_LOCATION\common\AWayOut).

Close the Regedit and the game should be recognized as installed and run.

Folders not present. Tried creating Path and Install Dir with correct steam location in string value, does not work. Windows 11. EA app still crashes on launch.

Problem solved for me likes this. I read throughout the whole internet on different threads.
Close steam and close ea app, check ctrl+alt+del so it doesn’t run in background. Then launch ea app first and the game should appear. It did for me and my friend. Happy gaming

This 100% fixes it. Tested on two systems. Thank you 👍
