Game Crashing

me and my friend have just bought the game however the game just closes/crashes once were in the main lobby.

We have both verified our games on steam and logged in through the EA launcher but it still won't work.

Any ideas?

have you tried launching it through EA launcher, most of the time the launcher causes crashes, also try to boot the game after a fresh pc restart, this actually helped me. if it still fails to boot-up try some of those optimisations( disable full scale optimisation in game properties)

this happened to me and my friend recently too, but there's a youtube video that 80k views that was helpful in fixing the issue and stopping the game from crashing

It's happen to me too. I try add the Environment Variable value at "User Environment variable for User". It's work for me. Variable: OPENSSL_ia32cap Value: ~0x20000000
You may search the details at Readit or follow step from Youtube as above comment suggest.
