Can't invite friend

I press "f" then invite friends, but the box is empty, nothings pops up. I restarted the game, still same problem.

Anyone have a fix for this?

same issue, for me and friend no matter who hosts. sometimes it does show invite, but when we click it, it errors out saying, "must download 'UNDEFINED'" or some bs .w.

I think it's just unreliable. Try rehosting and inviting sooner after. Also, clicking the invite from within Origin chat doesn't work, but there's no in-game invite-accept option for me or my friend either. Rather, if I alt+tab out of the game, open origin and wait with the game in the background, a completely different accept-invite option shows NEXT to my origin window... if I take too long to click it, invites stop working until rehost. My friend doesn't seem to get any such option when I invite him.

Hey wanted to ask if only require 1 purchase and can invite friend to play for free ? Any of you have the complete step to inviting others?

getting the same thing here, i launched the game, shift +tab to invite friend to Play Together, then tried to invite friend from 'A way out' menu and no one shows up. Tried Both local and online play options, clicked invite friend from 'A way out' menu, no one shows up still.

I'd refund it but I bought it half a year ago :/

One has to have a keyboard and the other a controller and have to be playing on local if you’re using the remote play function, otherwise both have origins and the one who doesn’t own the game downloads that free version of a way out to just join someone when they are invited

you should add friends in EA app, it is a confusing process and EA should have done better
