Cross plateforme steam/origin?

Hi, my friend bought the game on steam, and invite me to play, but our internet connexion is to slow for play in remote play together. Is it possible to play with the origin version for second player, for me, and the version steam for him?

Yes they're both Origin versions, we just chose to buy it on Steam. Both will play through Origin accounts.
