it need EA account , F***k that

i got it for free and i thinking about pirating it,
just becouse that not need a EA accunt

Luckily, I had a EA account from BF3 days.

But I can tell you one thing, dealing with the pile of ♥♥♥♥ EA app is enough for me to know, that me ignoring EA on Steam was the right decision. Never purchasing a game from EA as long as the pile of ♥♥♥♥ launcher is plaguing their games.

Also, I have like 200 games on Epic store, all free, and Inquisition is the only game I've ever installed and played. Even that has been a terrible experience, with sometimes the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ EA app just not launching, forcing me to restart Epic app. Or how closing the game is a chore, every link on Epic app for game just launches the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Not to mention, you can't just see the achievements locally by clicking the game, you have to click those tiny dots and goto online store page to see achievements inside the app. But launching the game just hides the page sometimes or EA app just opens the app in a window.

Did I mention this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game doesn't have a cursor lock? That said, it has made my life easier as well, since now I have the Windows time options opened on secondary monitor to complete every retarded "timed" quest on wartable in an instant.

Anyway, overall, game is fine. If you're dying to play an RPG like Dragon Age, this will do. Just be warned, if you have low tolerance for MMO-like quests, you're gonna have a bad time.
I've gotten some good free games in the past few months from epic. Ghostrunner, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, The Evil Within 1 & 2, Homeworld 1, 2, 3 Remastered Collection, Homeworld Desert of Kharak ground-based RTS game, and the reboot of Thief most recently.
Most of the games Epic offers for free are absolute dogturd indie nuclearwaste that would only interest a 7 year old who doesn't know any better and thinks the glowing looks cool so gobbles it right up, not recognizing that they're about to grow a fishtail out of their eyeball.

So I hope this game isn't one of those cause they do offer some great games sometimes..

It's not EA that is banning their games, it's the country and the laws that bans it. If i had to guess it's because the game has gay characters which is against the law in some countries.
Wrong. The game is still banned in India since launch despite homosexuality being legal there, and other more sexual stuff being released for the country. Hell, Inquisition is available for purchase in India through EGS.

This is a case of self-censorship that they've never rectified.

I said it was a guess, because it's often the reason why. I have no idea why it's banned in India. Again the governments ban's things, unless it's under a sanction ban. There are some fringe cases of companies refusing to sell in certain countries because of things they have done, which is their right after all we live in a free world for the most part. Also not being for-sale, doesn't always mean banned. Perhaps there was something going on 10+ years ago leading to them not selling it.

You can either argue about it on steam forums which will not help at all. OR you can contact EA support and see what they have to say officially and you might want to bring up the fact it's being sold on epic. It's not like companies follow politics in every country to see if they can sell their games, especially ones that are 10 years old. If they still blame india, then contact your government and help get it over turned. It's a Civic's lesson at it's finest.

You don't need to do any of them, so not sure why them being their when they are optional is a bad thing. The game also plays a bit better if you streamline the game a bit, skip stuff and then do a second/third replay, Doing everything with one party the game runs out of banter and character stories long before the end, so you need to swap characters at the very least to hear more. The good thing is you can skip lots of things and have multiple plays with lots of fresh content.

BREAKING NEWS: Whole day yesterday, I tried to launch the game.

The garbage EA App keeps opening and closing, so basically, I can't play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SP game I payed for got for free for on Epic store. Nice.

Their app is so bad they actually install "App Recovery" on start menu as an option, which obviously does jack.

And this is why I have EA blocked on Steam and will never pay for their ♥♥♥♥. This has been an enlightening experience. My previous experience with bad launcher apps have been through Origin (BF3 days) and uPlay ages ago, but I didn't expect how bad they've gotten until now.

Just to be clear, EA APP offers NOTHING but spyware installation (service running in background) like 2K Launcher or uPlay. These companies are trying hard to take Steam share by piggy-backing on Steam, and hell, even Epic Store has bigger audience (thanks to Fortnite and Unreal) than these garbage corporate apps from EA, UBI and 2K. It's hilarious and pathetic.

Also, this has nothing to do with Epic launcher. It just launches an app, that's all. Rest is all upto EA to ♥♥♥♥ up. I use Epic Launcher for Unreal editor all the time, it launches instantly, no issues.

Oh well, this was a nice experiment, while it lasted. Back to playing my indie titles on Steam.

Linked EA with game from Epic and its can be lunched here
Few days later, the game launched just fine.

Guess what?

Their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ app was having connection issues. Their server issues meant, you couldn't play a SP game. What a ♥♥♥♥-show.
Nice game, free game, even better.
Nice game, free game, even better.

Honestly the only quests I've been really enjoying so far are the ones with Dwarves so far. I enjoyed those in previous games as well, always enjoyed exploring the Thaig's more.

Of course the game has to ruin it, because some characters like Varric just jump out of the map bounds using their leap shot ability. So I had to finish some fights with just three members (no save allowed in between because wasting player's time is "challenging" for Bioware), with Varric chilling in some ditch a thousand miles away.

Disable any leap or chain pull abilities on AI when venturing in different areas of the world.

What a glitch, I don't think I run into those glitches, like ever. Sorry to hear your experience is bad with the game. I enjoy it a lot, to explore and upgrade, the world is nice too.

Only times I've ever had that happen is in the Deep Roads. But your larger point is correct, nowadays I avoid giving Charging Bull to Cass because she has a tendency to charge right into those fire glyphs the mages lay down :steamfacepalm: Which is a shame since it's a very powerful skill, which I invariably take for the Inquisitor very early on if I'm running a warrior.

Still haven't figured out how to keep mages from running into the heat of the battle either :steamsad: Changing their tactics to "Follow" their own selves helps...but not entirely. Every time I hear Dorian bleating out "I'm getting slaughtered over here!" I want to b*tch-slap him and say, maybe if you weren't over there, huh? :steammocking:

Now that is funny. I enjoy old AI in games because of such situations. lol

AI in this game is beyond retarded.

1. Can't auto-use more than healing potion. Everything else has to be manually used so that's pointless micro-managing that isn't fun.

2. That ISN'T fun because the AI is stupid. Mages, rogues (with bows) run into melee enemies, don't move away from AOE spells being cast (you have to manually move them out of the way).

3. The percentage for health potion auto-use is 30%-50% (apparently values in between were too hard to program for Bioware). The AI doesn't use health potions if they are at like 31%-35%, so the next few blows just kills them before they use potion a lot of times, pissing you off further. So now you have to keep pausing, deal with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ camera and make them take potions and "tonics".

Oh yeah, you can't queue the potions and tonics. Whatever you click on cancels the other, so you have to sit and babysit every character taking health+tonic potion one by one.

4. Barely any AI options. Pointless one about "stamina usage". Like who goes around telling AI to preserve stamina when it just recharges? Unless you play this game on higher difficulty for some reason (if you don't like wasting time, Normal is the way to go) with the most moronic AI in existence watching your back (if they don't fly off the map using some ability).

I think AI in Dragon Age: Origins was a step up from this disaster designed for consoles primarily.

Remember, Origins was PC only until late in development nearing release, when they started porting it to consoles (this is why adverts for consoles started getting spammed later nearing release). Also why the UI for Origins was crisp and responsive on PC, unlike the garbage UI/UX designed for gamepads in sequels. AI also had a lot of behaviour customization in that game.

Anyway, Inquisition has a LOT of issues. Most characters are awful (Sera.. dear lord) and the politics of Thedas apparently is just American politics (very imaginative) in disguise.

I've pretty much resorted to same few companions in every quest at this point, because I can't be arsed to play the others with generic American backgrounds stories ("Oh lord my dad hated me for being GAY!").

Good thing I got this for free on Epic store. :lunar2019piginablanket:
