Trying to Mod DA:I with DAI Mod Manager
Hey ya'll, hoping for some help. I've followed tutorials as well as I can, the game runs perfectly. But I can't get my mods to show up in game. When I open up the Mod Manager all my mods are properly merged (task completed successfully) and all my mods show up with the check marks. My mods and the mod manager are in a separate folder than everything else. What am I missing?

Do you run game via mod launcher or via steam? I didn't use DAIMM so I might be wrong but with Frosty Mod Manager you have to launch the game via Frosty not steam.

Did you successfully merge all mods before you started the game?

did you rename the path folder? daimm makes a new folder you gotta rename

the mods all succesfully merged.
and i don't know about renaming the path folder. I created the folder, named it DAI Mods and then put the mods in that folder, and pathed it there.

The "launching through the mod manager" suggestion is about frosty mod manager, not daimod. I use DAIMOD and I'm not sure what's going on. I set it up years ago once and it's always worked since, so I haven't had to troubleshoot your specific problem. Once it's merged, everything usually just works! I would suggest trying it again with just one mod (an obvious one that you can check immediately) to see if you have it set up right, rather than maybe a problem with the specific mods you're trying

So, replying to Yikes, you only have to rename the folders when you are using Frosty Mods, and I am using DAIModManager.
Replying to It's Chase RPG, I downloaded the "No Wait Time" War Table mod as my check to see if things were downloading (on the page on Nexus mods it says that people have been able to get it working within the last couple months) and I've had no luck with it. I don't even mind the wait times at the war table, but I don't know why the mod isn't, well, modding.

I think there might be something wrong with the way I installed DAI Mod Manager (even though I did exactly as every tutorial has told me) and might have to try Frosty.
Thank you everyone so far for the help, I'm not giving up yet!

Frosty is working for me at least, I just tried it the first time a few days ago, so far 4/5 DAI mods I've tried have been working fine with it too, and the 5th worked but increased loading times too much so I disabled it.

I used to use DAIMM but when I started playing again I switched to FMM. However I still use several DAIMM mods and while they give you an advisory when you load them using Frosty, they all seem to run perfectly.

The main obstacle to giving up DAIMM is that you can no longer use "tunable" mods as the protocols for the two mod apps are so different: DAIMM mods your executable permanently, while Frosty only does it "on the fly" each time you start up...which is why you MUST launch from Frosty but not from DAIMM.
