Holy, I have daggers that I made that have a DPS of 491 at level 13.
I found a level 21 dagger that had dps of 421, and those were purple daggers. Like everything dies so fast now due to having two super OP daggers for level 13. One is 491, and the is is 447 with the Walking Fortress (5 seconds) perk on it. On top of this I have 70% attack right now and 101 crit damage, only like 40 crit chance while flanking, and default flank damage bonus so 25%.

Im not sure if this is actually OP for this level, since I did the quest to kill the OGRE in the deep roads, where you end up getting the Legion of the dead armor schematic. I either got the blue prints for these daggers from there or from a War table mission. And during that OGRE quest you get like 30 Dragon bones or something, which helped make these daggers super strong.
Still It feels quite a bit op having daggers that have this much dps on them. The attack for each dagger is 191 and 174 so hidden blades often just melts a target, especially since I also have a 10% chance to cast hidden blades. So usually that procs when I use hidden blades.

Plus due to how fast I attack, I am nearly invincible unless stunned, to too walking fortress lasting 5 seconds on proc.

Cool. But I'd prefer to craft my own weapon, dps doesn't mean all that much if it hasn't got my fav prefix (armor penet, extra health, stagger, great runes etc etc).

I did craft my own o.o. I was level 13 when I made them. the highest damage weapon for daggers I've seen was around the same DPS but was locked to level 21.
But I have one of them having a 10% chance to cast walking fortress for 5 seconds. And another I think I have either guard on hit, or that one ability you get with the assassin tree that does 3 or 6 strikes. I wish higher leveled crafted weapons let you put grips and stuff on them. I kinda miss that about the lower leveled items. And Right now my runes are damage to demons +32. Just because i've not found any other good ones. I wish I had the crafting recipe for Damage to living things. Would make them much better over all I think. Or having both demon and living runes.
Im a rouge so you get 100% reduction of threat while flanking, and I also have a SIGLE that reduces attack by 50% but when flanking you get 200% attack. So some spells will crit for over 9k especially when the target is frozen. I kind of wish I didnt put walking fortress on one of the daggers, as most mobs dont attack him or deal damage. Besides mages, and big monsters like dragons. So thats the only time its actually useful. I think on my armor I have walking bomb 10% chance for 50% damage. Which is kind of nice to just melt a group. Since I use solas which he has that spell that sucks everyone to the center, mix that with the Ring of frost, blizzard and the spell that weakens everyone in the AOE. While having CASS taunt. Most mobs just get melted.

Maybe if I ever find an item for a rouge that makes it so you cant tank a lot easier like an item that generates threat. My walking fortress would be far more useful. Since it procs a lot, due to how fast duel wields attack which was my logic behind it. I just forgot that as a rouge I dont get attacked much, unless its AOE ♥♥♥♥.

You meant sigil? yeah.. I rarely use that. Not even to my rouge cole. My main character is a Two handed reaver and I obsessed with maximum damage and maximum health/tank to took down enemy and dragon *fast* and I found out while Daggers do have high DPS, somehow it's just not hits hard like my two handed weapon do... hmmm.. maybe I should try it on my next playthrough.

Yeah sigil mb, couldnt remember lmao.
And well if cole is using daggers that sigil I said, Is legit just busted. as you get 200% flanking bonus and you already get 25% so its 225% flanking damage. Which is better than just 100% base damage. And aggro is super easy to manage if you have a tank.
And yeah Rouges I feel like are pretty broken. I wish I made one when I played dragon age 2. Because I was using isabella on my squad, just cuz the animations where super cool and she just shredded targets, BUT she did pretty much get 1-3 shot on nightmare. And it is kind of like that in dragon age 3, with out any defense perks. Like if my rouge dies, the fight just slows to a crawl. They only have high dps because of the attack speed. Other wise their weapon damage is on par with everything else. Although I feel like two handed weapons should have the highest Base damage in the game. But it all just seems even, besides staves.

I am galde I did a rouge instead of warrior in this game (I played a DW warrior in origin, then a two warrior for 70% of the game in dragon age 2, then switched to sword and shield cuz it had higher single target dps). Warrior skills in dragon age 3 all kind of seem boring to play as. Although it is nice for the buffs they give.

I feel like in this game though rouges are just stupid busted, at least Dagger ones. Like you can just get master work items that enhance defense, get tanky that way while dishing out damage like Covid on america.
