I think you should bear in mind that she's a devout Christian Andrastian who's been a member of a religious fighting order since youth. So it's entirely possible that she's simply repressed any impulses in that direction--consciously or otherwise.
Though it might have been interesting if the devs had included a plot arc that gently steered her into a journey of self-discovery. But given the era in which the game was made it might have been thought too controversial.
Ah yes. Because she prefers to fight and has rugged features she MUST be gay.
