Your companions skills might need resetting as well. The Qunari will be a pain to fight if your tank can't aggro and take hits and your mage cant support DPS with barriers.
Might also try changing you party for more survivability, say two warrior tanks and a mage, or two barrier mages and a tank (depending on what your inquisitor is).
Don't feel too bad though, they really upped the difficulty of the enemies in Tresspasser. My first playthrough had almost every battle finish with only one of my companions left standing.
