Every story decision will have to be manually filled in. My advice would be to go through and try and fill in the core story decisions, and either leave blank or randomly fill in information that you don't remember much about, like side quest decisions that won't have as much impact- as opposed to big story choices like the outcome of the Landsmeet and the fate of your Warden.
The same also applies for DA2, but if you didn't play it I would just leave it blank and let the game automatically fill it in for you. (Unless you want to go through and make decisions for it)
Theoretically, is it possible that someone who is well versed in the universe and recently played the game would load my save files, look at everything that is needed, and then fill out the information in dragonkeep and share it with me?
If it were me and I had forgotten much oi the game, then I would play the series. Either way, I hope you enjoy. The Keep is a lot of fun to many of us.
To add to this, it's also possible to edit the choices during the narrated video, which makes it even easier to remember and maybe tweak things.
You don't transfer saves to Inquisition. After the last two games where there were numerous bugs/errors when it came to importing saves, Bioware decided to create Dragon Age Keep. Essentially, you create your "worldstate" by selecting the choices offered in the Keep. The Keep's choices pretty much incorporate all of the major (and a ton of the minor) decisions you were able to make in Origins and DA2 and their expansions/DLC. (Like, who you romanced, the outcome of the Landsmeet, who you sided with at the end of DA2, etc).
Once you've created your ideal worldstate, you can import it into your game. You will be prompted to once you start a new game.
You will need an Origin account to use the Keep as well as an internet connection if you wish to import the worldstate. You do not need to own the DLC in order to use the Keep either, all of the major/some minor choices for those DLC's will be in there.
P.S. By the way, did you know, cap, that you need an internet connection to post in this forum? LMAO
