How to launch game offline?

I would like to be able to play without having an online connection. Is this game only online? Can I play it without an online connection?

I like to keep all my ports blocked when online. Mass effect andromeda was user friendly for me with a small amount of troubleshooting to figure out what programs were running. This game doesn't even launch and I really don't feel like the couple bucks i payed to play this game is worth changing or troubleshooting how I want my computer setup.

you bought a game infected by EA app, store page is clear, you have to use EA app in the background and create an account etc This is account-based DRM and always online DRM.

That's why its not worth it not even for 3 bucks, EA can remove access from this game whenever they want, dont support anti-consumer measures and greedy corpo.

You can it just takes a bunch of managing. And you can't swap back and forth between online and offline with the same install. but if you have an offline computer you can still install it through origin or do some editing to keep the app offline.

You need to link your accounts first to get a copy on origin, then uninstall the EA app, install the older launcher, go offline, and keep it off line. So you are not launching the game through steam, or online. though perhaps you can still launch it as a Non-steam game i have not tried that way, but it should work with proper editing.

NP, the thread is a little older, but i don't see why it should not work still. i see people that say they still use origin on the sims4 forums. I'm guessing it's people that have highly modded games and don't want updates wrecking their set up.
