Carrying Save Over (From Origin)
A long long time ago, I played through Inquisition and was part way through one of the DLC. So, if I no longer have access to that computer, is there a way to pick it back up where I left off with the Steam version? As in if I download the game on Steam, will the save still be there despite the fact that this would be the first time I'd be playing on Steam and it is another computer entirely?

And if not, does the Origin version have Cloud Saves, and I can just redownload Origin, then redownload DAI there, then get those old saves, and finally move those saves to wherever the save folder is in the steam version?

Link your steam account to your origin account.

Oh if that's a thing and I can get cloud save from my origin account then it's no problem.

I already have the game in my library, just waiting to figure out his this works before I download it.

I restarted playing dao a few weeks back and imported my saves to da2, finished that and now imported my saves to dai.

You can skip all that and just go to dragon age keep, manually build your world the way you remember it was based on your decisions and import that to Inquisition.

There's no cloud saving for origins and it won't be imported to Inquisition, the game imports from dragon age keep only.

Oh I suppose I could, but it was a very long time since I last finished Inquisition, and I don't remember everything.

It's no problem though. I downloaded Inquisition from steam for the first time, logged into my EA account, and all my saves are already there, so it's all good.
