Hey, happy to help! :-) And you won't have to wait long, so press on! :-)
Also, since the Emporium is a place in the game rather than part of a cut-scene, you'll be able to try as many times as you like to "get it right!"
...And--while you're there--check out the various things you can buy: some items that are way above your level and pay grade; some decent and not-very-expensive schematics (as well as some eye-wateringly expensive ones); and all the Tier 1 materials (higher-tier materials will become available later: Tier 2 at level 8 and Tier 3 at level 16).
The Emporium's materials are more expensive than, say, the Tier 1 Leather you can buy fairly early on in the first major region you go to (trying to avoid spoilers here), but at this stage Cloth is hard to come by so you may be willing to pay the premium if you're running a mage.
That would be the Qunari light armor from the Special Deliveries you get right after waking up in Haven. Yeah, Solas isn't well suited to that armor, aesthetically speaking :-) Since I usually play a female character, I use it for myself. Much better! :-)
Of course then you could argue about how effective they would be in combat, yadda yadda. My view is, if they're good enough for the Qunari, they're good enough for me! :-)
A more subtle defect of those armors--two Qunari and two Avvar--is that they have no slots for pauldrons and greaves ("arms" and "legs"), so you can't improve their defensive capabilities nearly as much as you can for the more conventional armors.
