Black screen after loading screen

Hi, I was playing inquisition with no issues up until yesterday. It was working well but now when I try to load my save I get stuck on a black screen and the small green icon in the corner doesn't pulse. I've tried disabling anti-virus and even reinstalling the game but still having issues. Any one know what to do?

Do you have that darn Steam cloud save feature enabled in the game's properties? R-click the game in steam library, choose properties and see if it's checked. If so, try unchecking it. then try loading your save.

Try loading your most recent auto save, that should work. Had this same thing happen to me on my first play through. Somehow, all of my physical saves were corrupted and none of them worked.
