Dragon Age Inquisition won't launch with EA app

It pulls up the EA App, tries to load (no screen changes, just my cursor loading animation) then the EA App disappears for a second and pops back up. Running through Steam does the same. With Origin, the same again, just with the Origin App disappearing and reappearing after a few seconds.
I've tried:


Running it directly from Desktop, Steam, EA App, and Origin App
Running as Administrator
Disabling Full Screen Optimization Settings
Windows Anti Virus exception for DAI.exe, and both exe's for EA App (I don't have any other antivirus)
Clean Boot and then trying to run the game
Uninstalling and Reinstalling
Restarting PC multiple times
Repairing Files (Verifying files through Steam)
Reinstalling both DirectX and all Redist in DAI folder

No matter what I do, this game won't load. It doesn't even seem to begin running.

xbox program does detect it , same for my other dragon age games on steam , try getting xbox on desktop and launch it through there? idk if itll work

sadly the best way to play an EA game is on console so you dont have to interact with the EA launcher.

ea app buged when you try to launch it from steam but it takes time depends on your system programs etc try open ea app then steam (to launch a game required ea app only) it happens to me sometimes
3-8mins after that bugs for no reason well ea app is new plus there are not completely origin imported!

I would guess it's an EA Launcher problem.
-Launch the EA app.
-Click the 3 lil horizontal lines, top left.
-Help
-Reinitialize app (not sure about the English version wording).
-Drop cache.

Then you could plain reinstall the launcher.

I've been having the same problem, tried everything you said, and nothing helped. I contacted customer support, so hopefully they'll know what to do

good luck. tried contacting support. useless. followed some strats everyone has been saying. cant do it because ea wont properly uninstall and or doesn't work. good luck people. nexus mod is the next thing im going to try even tho i do like dragon age multiplayer.. :(

I found a... strange fix.

If you create a new account on your computer [Settings > Accounts > Family and Other Users > Add Someone Else To This PC] the game will launch on that new account. Please don't ask me to explain why this works. I have no idea what's going on.

Had this issue on DA2, it was either RiviaTuner or Icue stopping it from launching.

Damn, so we have an actual fix, but those of us with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hardware, who circumvent that with a cloud PC are still effed?

Hello All
Just downloaded today because I love the Dragon Age games. Had the same issue as everyone else. Tried everything suggested above. The only thing I didnt see mentioned was disabling EA Overlay in the EA launcher. It worked immediately afterward for me.

Same issue here. My cases on the EA help platform are getting zero attention for a week. No working fixes found yet : (
