Sera is irritating, but she's not nearly as insufferable as the ABSOLUTE WORST character in the entire game, which is of course, the truly despicable and nauseating Vivienne. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

I like how people ♥♥♥♥ on her yet I actually find Vivienne far more annoying-
Like true, Sera has some moments where shes annoying but at least shes "funny" annoying, or that might just be me idk?
But Vivienne, she (almost) talks down on everybody! Like she has her moments here and there but the way she talks to Blackwall for instance? (her banter is understandable with Sera since she keeps trying to prank her)
Blackwall despite being ya know, a liar is still one of my favorite companions, yet Vivienne has never said anything nice about or to him when you talk about him or they banter in the party (some of her lines with iron bull are funny, shes like an older sister/mother other than that shes a total ♥♥♥♥♥)
She even talks "badly" about Leliana once she gets elected as the divine? like... does she have any good/redeeming qualities? Cause I sure as hell haven't found them.
even when you "try" to romance her she says it wouldn't be beneficial? like bruh, she cares for almost nobody I feel like. Even joining inquisition feels like was just cause she could gain some sort of credit/power? whatever?

And this might be me being a bit bias since my characters in previous games were mages so I "experienced" the unfairness they go through (even my inq is a mage) so I'm all for to change the whole mage situation but she finds all that bad? I don't know- I'm yet to see anything likable about her and unless trespasser has some insane character development for her I don't really see my opinion about her change

As far as Vivienne goes I think Sera's comment about her is true
"She's a ♥♥♥♥♥ and she knows it" It was something like that I'm sure.
When you first meet her she looks stunning, but that is all a facade
she all front and using anyone to gain power.
So I'd agree Sera's better than Vivienne

Exactly- you can talk to Sera, what she thinks about other companions and she says that. At first I was like "that's probably just Sera being Sera" however, after having her in the party for some time now (since ya know, my go to mage aka Solas gets lost) I began to hate her more and more
I guess the devs did a great job at making an actual unlikable character but dam is she so annoying!
There's one particular banter between her and Blackwalll that just made me hate her guts! Don't remember it word for word but it went along the lines of

Blackwall: " why do you have no sympathy for mages?"
Vivienne: "its not as simple as you think it is"
Blackwall: "I know they are dangerous, and given the opportunity, in a 1v1 you'd crush me, but why can't we just treat them the way we wanna be treated?"
Vivienne: "you're right one 1 thing, you wouldn't stand a chance against me"

And that just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rubbed me the wrong way, like ♥♥♥♥♥? he asked you a question what the hell? (mind you in almost every other banter Blackwall shows some sort of compassion and care for her since shes a mage out there fighting and ♥♥♥♥? I even remember a banter where he offers her a handkerchief cause the area was muddy or something?)
I don't know- shes also extremely cruel to Cole for like- no reason? He has not shown any signs of being a demon or anything yet she treats him like garbage. I've not had her in party with every single member but I'm pretty sure the only character she might "tolerate" is Cassandra? but even then I'm not sure since I've never had both of them in a party

Going back to play Skyrim and using some bard Mods I was amazed that several dragon age songs have made it into game particularly "Sera was" and "Enchanter". There were even some Witcher songs I guess everything can get modded into Skyrim these days.

So although Sera may be annoying her song was quite good.

Remembering that we are given a topic for Sera, to say "Your Not welcome in Inquisition" in each and every discussion with her and almost gets clicked on as the topic comes up so obviously she has been created to make that an issue with her character.

So the Devs particularly want to make us hate Sera. Does that makes us feel more immersed in the game ... NO

So small minded that you have to reduce a fantasy character to a one-dimensional political social media caricature because it's the only way you can comprehend the world around you; through buzz phrases and social media. Life must be hard when your brain functions like that.

In my first run, my HM Inquisitor was friendzoned by her haha but they became good friends making jokes and spending time in the roof.
In my second run, my QF Inquisitor always answered aggressively to everything and everybody, so Sera was on the verge of rage-quitting the party.

I agree that Vivy, after the initial shock by her looks, became an annoying ♥♥♥♥♥. She always pestered everybody in the party, and even tough guys like Blackwall and TIB didn't dare to answer her hahaha.

Reason she friend zoned you on your first run is cause only female inq can romance Sera
and yeah- i feel like Vivienne with most party members she was just trying to pick a fight for no reason. At least Sera was trying to be funny or witty with her banter when she was trying to get under someones skin- Vivienne was just trying to actually hurt people it feels like

BTW, in my 2nd run, my QF Inquisitor was friendzoned to xD..

After these 2 runs, it seems to me the only one that Vivy respected was precisely Cass.
