Twanger rogues are about buff, buff, twangtwangtwang, wash, rinse, repeat.
Also--despite a bizarrely large number of folks who assert that twangers are DPS machines and stabbers aren't, my experience is pretty much the exact opposite. If anything I think stabbers are OP.
Honestly I think that more broadly, CQB is more fun than than rangestrike. Nothing I like better as a Warrior than doing the runaway locomotive with Charging Bull, or letting my inner Tasmanian Devil out with Whirlwind. But those are kinda OP too.
At least with the mage you can adopt different play styles based on the different types of magic.
And don't forget the Knight-Enchanter specialization--now, you too can be a totally, ridiculously OP Warrior-Mage!
Not meaning to promote "topic drift" here, but--what is it about Cole you find creepy? I mean, sure, he's a little fey, but at least he's not batsh*t-crazy like Sera or an arrogant narcissist like Viv.
