Another Fix for Frosty Mod Manager not working
Just a prerequisite, if you haven't already try installing the plugin for the mod manager Here[github.com] and follow the steps. Then Restart Steam and Origin / EA Play

Say you have problems with the mod manager loading your mods, it launches the game perfectly but no mods are present, you launch through the mod manager, it tells you its applying mods but they don't work.

First thing you should do, verify the game files through steam, then through steam again launch the game so that the installation runs. Once you do that you can close the game and EA launcher and start up Frosty

Make sure the datapathfix is active in your plugins, turn OFF Platform launching and make sure you select which mods you want to run first. For testing reasons use a visual mod, and one that doesn't seem terribly outdated and is specifically made for Frosty. I recommend using mods that increase your inventory for example since that's a quick way to check if they work.

Launch the game through the mod manager and accept the Windows prompts, hope to god EA Launcher doesn't goof up and check to see if your mods work. Usually if it does at some point after restarting your PC they won't work again in that case you just repeat the method and it usually works again, but it'll be faster not that you have the datapathfix installed.

One of the best mods to quickly and easily test if your Frosty mods are loaded is the Origins font mod. Since it displays text right away on the intro screen. Don't even have to load a game to test.

Personally I found that if I already had Steam/EA App open, they would both close when I launched through Frosty. I had to make sure both were closed, then launch through Frosty, then while it said "Waiting for launch platform..." I could then open Steam.

About 50% of the time the game would then launch automatically, the other 50% I had to click "Launch" in Steam as well. But it always loaded all mods 100% of the time when doing it this way.

Datapathfix did jack-all for me.

I was able to get mine working by doing the method above, then going into launch settings in Frosty and disabling platform launch.
