Does anyone know what it contains? It's 2.6 gb big.

Edit: Looks like a major localization update. They did something with the language files. Proabaly restructured them. I doubt they did any text-changes. The abilites file had some changes and OriginThin installer was removed:

DA:Inquisition is 2.6 GB
DA2 is 1,1 MB

I only have Inquisition installed with a few mods, and it's just 1,1mb

Most of my EA games got an update.

It seems like they all added the EA App Installer to it.

Haven't played other EA games besides Mass Effect LE since the update but from when I played the game it didn't do anything noticeably different besides a very short Steam install script. Game still launches via Origin.

I suspect this is EA prepping to move Steam copies of their games onto the EA App and off of Origin as they've been trying to do. They'll still be on Steam like they've been, but will just be using a different EA launcher after you hit play.

the game does seem to be launching through the EA app for me when I deleted origin from my PC, but the game still has the same launching problems as it did have with launching through steam and origin.

Tiny update for me too, can't remember the exact size, but probably less than 1MB.

In the link you provide it looks like most of that 2.7GB is one file, en.sb, so if that was previously updated presumably it wouldn't be again. The other dozen or so files are noise level.

Same. I have currently the German version installed for DAI. DA2 is in English.

I only got it working with the frostbyte mod launcher. And even then the mod launcher won't properly register that the game is running.
