When I have trouble launching, I look at the Redist installations first for any missing or corrupt ones.
I've just tried it, it doesn't work. It opened the origin launcher and then stopped before I could hit stop :(
Nope, not even an anti-virus. I have only origin, gog, discord, battle.net and nvidia container running
You have all those launchers running at the same time. You only need the launcher for the game your running.
If you're unable to launch it today and are getting the "106128" error code in origin, I'm fairly certain it's due to an issue with EA servers.
List of stuff I done before I managed to play the game in order of trying it:
-Launch the game as administrator (from its EXE)
- Disable full screen optimisation
-Overwrite the high DPI scaling stuff
-Deleted the entire %temp% folder
-Reinstall the game to the /C Drive inside the Steam root folder
-Reinstall origin to the /C Drive to its default install path
-Do a Clean boot (did not help)
-Disable Steam overlay
-Disable Origin overlay
-Disabled Nvidia overlay
-Disable Discord overlay / completely close out discord
-Close out MSI Afterburner / Riva Tuner, any non vital application / Wallpapper engine.
And voila the game worked, but only if I launch the game from its EXE and not from steam. I still do not know which of these things got me to the solution, but anything except the clean boot has the possibility of helping. Maybe even the clean boot, did nothing for me tho.
I do not use any anty virus, but if you do use I recommend also disabling that.
Also if u use avast, why are you using avast lol? delete it.
Hope this can help, it seems to be that ANY king of overlay completely kills the game, so be afraid of overwolf or AMD overlay, or any other type of overlay program I might not know about.
